FAQ

I’m a Bitcoin artist making work that doesn’t ask for permission. My art lives at the intersection of money, sovereignty, and fine art — challenging the way people think about who controls value and why. While the system keeps printing, I keep creating. I’m here to inspire the rabbit hole journey, celebrate the values of the Bitcoin community, and present it in a way that’s bold, thought-provoking, and impossible to ignore. Libertas Ex Arte is Latin for “Freedom through Art.” It’s not just a tagline — it’s the conviction behind every piece I make. Art has always been one of the few truly free human acts, and when the subject is money itself, that freedom becomes a statement. Libertas Ex Arte is a belief I build into everything.
-
Simple: empower the individual. Stand up to Big Brother. I believe Bitcoin — and its values of proof of work, decentralisation, and privacy — is essential to a prosperous future for people everywhere. Separating money from state strips away the tools that corrupt governments use to manipulate, surveil, and suppress their citizens. My art is a visual expression of that conviction — and an invitation to question everything you’ve been told about money.
-
Because money is the most powerful and least questioned force in daily life. Every bill, every coin carries history, power, and meaning — and most people never stop to look. Art creates that pause. My work makes people feel something about a system they’ve been conditioned to accept. That feeling is where change begins.
-
Because Bitcoin asks the same question my art does: who gets to decide what money is? It’s a peaceful rebellion — built on proof of work, decentralisation, and privacy — against a monetary system designed to keep people dependent. Separating money from state isn’t radical. It’s necessary. Bitcoin is the most important idea of our time, and my work exists to reflect that.
-
Yes. Real bills, coins, and monetary materials are central to much of what I make. Using actual money blurs the line between the art object and what it’s commenting on. When you own one of my pieces, you’re not just owning a painting — you’re owning a transformed artifact of the financial world.
-
It means you see it too. Every piece is a statement on the wall — a daily reminder that value is something we create, not something handed down by governments and central banks. Owning one of my originals means you chose to look at money differently. That’s not nothing. That’s everything.
-
I work across original canvas paintings, currency-based mixed media, and layered assemblage works. Pieces may incorporate real bills, coins, ink, paint, and other materials depending on the concept. Where possible, I buy all my materials using Bitcoin — stimulating the BTC economy and orange pilling suppliers along the way. Nothing I make is decorative for its own sake.
-
Always. No mass production. No reproductions. Just low time preference quality and care poured into every piece. When you own an original, you own the only one that exists — full stop.
-
Sizes vary by piece — each listing has the specific dimensions. If you need something to fit a particular space, reach out. Commissions are available and size is always part of the conversation.
-
All purchases are done directly — peer to peer. No middlemen, no platforms. Reach out through the contact page at rebelmoney.art and we’ll sort it out between us. That’s how it should be.
-
Bitcoin only. This isn’t just policy — it’s principle. Every transaction is a vote for the kind of world you want to live in. If you’re new to Bitcoin and want to make a purchase, get in touch and I’ll point you in the right direction.
-
Yes. Every piece is carefully packaged and shipped to wherever it needs to go. Shipping costs and timelines vary by location — details are provided when we connect directly.
-
Yes, for some pieces. Whether a print is available depends on the piece and the media used — not every work lends itself to it. If you’re interested in a print of something specific, get in touch and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
-
Yes, selectively. If you have a vision — a concept, a theme, a space it needs to live in — reach out and let’s see if it’s the right fit. I work with people who connect with what the art stands for.
-
It starts with a conversation. You share what you’re envisioning — the scale, the concept, any materials or themes that matter to you. We agree on scope and timeline before anything begins, and I’ll keep you updated throughout. No surprises.
-
Depends on the complexity and size of the work. Most commissions take between four and twelve weeks. Low time preference — we do it right. A realistic timeline is agreed before I begin.
-
They share the same root question: what is money, really, and who gets to decide? Bitcoin is a peaceful rebellion against a broken system — built on proof of work, decentralisation, and privacy. My art is the visual version of that same rebellion. Both ask you to stop accepting money at face value and start seeing it for what it actually is: a human construction that can be challenged, reimagined, and transcended.
-
Orange pilling is that moment when Bitcoin clicks — when someone finally sees the monetary system for what it is and can’t unsee it. My art is designed to trigger that moment. A real bill transformed into something on canvas makes people stop and ask what that piece of paper actually represents. That question is the beginning of the rabbit hole. I just hold the door open.
-
Because we spend our entire lives inside a system we were never asked to question. Money shapes decisions, limits possibilities, and concentrates power — and most people accept it without a second thought. Art breaks that spell. My work holds a mirror up to the system and asks: is this what we want? That question is worth asking in every medium available.
