Day 9 comes belongs to artist 40 by 25. I met him at the Pepe X gallery and loved his concept of displaying his Pepe by programming the art on hardware made in the 1980s. The result are amazing dank pixel images of pepes long before they came into existance! He describes his Kekmas piece SIXELPEPE as follows:
“SIXELPEPE was designed to bring the dank internet of the 1980s, called "Teletext", to the modern day. Displaying SIXELPEPE Pic of the Day on period correct BBC Model B hardware had been my ultimate goal, but it's big and heavy to lug around.
This is the next best thing! This presentation of SIXELPEPE makes use of the VirtualBeeb emulator - an interactive 3D simulation of a classic BBC Model B and CUB Monitor running a SIXELPEPE program which prints the native character based graphics of Teletext. Enjoy!”
